Asyla Trips Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Asyla Trips ("Asyla Trips," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile app that helps you keep track of your flight itineraries — either by automatically reading itinerary emails you forward to us, or by entering trip details yourself. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

By creating an account, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. The email address and password you sign up with (or, if you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, the email address and account identifier Apple or Google provides us). Optionally, your full name and a designated recovery email address, if you choose to add them in Account Settings.

Authorized forwarding addresses. Any additional email addresses you authorize to forward itineraries into your account, and the verification status of each.

Trip and flight data. Booking references, airline and flight numbers, departure and arrival airports and times, gate, terminal, and flight status/delay information — whether extracted automatically from a forwarded itinerary email or entered manually by you.

Forwarded email content. When you forward an itinerary to trips@asyla.pro, we process the email body and any PDF or calendar (.ics) attachments to extract flight details. See Section 3 for how this is processed.

Device and notification data. If you enable push notifications, we store a device token used to deliver flight status alerts.

Basic technical data. Like most online services, our servers process IP addresses and request metadata as part of normal operation and to detect abuse (for example, to rate-limit repeated failed sign-in attempts). We don't use this for tracking or advertising, and we don't retain it longer than necessary for that purpose.

Internal usage analytics. We log a small set of product-usage events tied to your account — for example, signing in, adding a trip, creating a share link, or adding a contact — along with the date and a short description of the action. We also compute aggregate, non-identifying statistics from existing trip data, such as which countries our users collectively travel to or from. This is used only to understand and improve the app; see Section 2.

We do not collect payment information — Asyla Trips does not process payments.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your trip or email content for advertising.

3. Third Parties We Share Data With

Because Asyla Trips's core feature is reading and tracking flights, some of your data is necessarily processed by third-party services on our behalf. We only share what each service needs to do its job:

We do not share your data with data brokers or advertisers, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your account record, trip/flight data, authorized forwarding emails, and device notification token. This action is irreversible.

Forwarded email content is processed to extract flight details and is not intentionally retained beyond what's needed for that processing and, for a limited window, to retry extraction if it initially fails.

5. Your Choices and Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with its own privacy law (such as California), you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable law. Contact us using the information in Section 8 to exercise those rights.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including: passwords are hashed (never stored in plain text) using PBKDF2 with a unique salt per account; session tokens are cryptographically signed and can be immediately revoked if you change your password or delete your account; and data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Asyla Trips is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of Asyla Trips after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact Us

If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at privacy@asyla.pro.
